"Sounds perfect, thank you." replied Kai before joining Caleb in picking the berries.
Though they were mostly unprepared for traveling, Kai's satchel would do perfectly for carrying a surplus of berries so they could have something to eat later as well.
"The cave portal I passed through to arrive at your doorstep yesterday will surely be guarded by now; so we must find another way back." said Kai as he nibbled on an extremely bitter berry.
