"I don't know, but we have to do something. If we just try and run, we've seen what happens." answered Caleb.
"Well we can't just jump into the hole, can we?" shrieked Kai.
Just as they were about to give in to desperation, Caleb noticed something in Kai's satchel. It was glowing! More specifically, something inside was glowing.
"The artifact!" explained Caleb.
Kai grabbed his satchel from his back and said, "What about it?"
Frustrated, Caleb pointed to the glowing satchel in the man's hands and grunted, "Look at it man! It's glowing!"
As Kai pulled the artifact out of the satchel and into the open, his face lit up, both from the light emanating from the artifact, but also from what appeared to be shear joy.
After a moment of thought Kai burst out, "Of course! I'd completely forgotten! That’s the answer!"
