Caleb closed his eyes and rubbed his
face with his right hand as he thought. Suddenly opening his eyes,
Caleb said, "They seemed to be bordering on obsession with the
monster on the forest, right?"
Kai nodded and replied, "Yes,
that's what I'm saying, they're not just going to let us leave until
they're satisfied with an explanation for how we survived. Let alone
if they find out we have a magical artifact that wards off the
beast!"
Caleb continued, "Right, so the
way I see it we have two choices: Either we somehow escape the
castle, which seems like a less than ideal option, or we do something
about the monster."
