Caleb paused for a moment, deep in
thought, then said, "Well, we know just wandering around the
forest isn't gonna do us much good; since the artifact just keep the
monster away."
Kai replied, "Right, so how will
we be able to get close? I'm certainly not going to leave the
artifact behind!"
Rolling his eyes, Caleb said, "Of
course not, that's our only advantage here." After taking a
moment to pull out a small twig that had gotten stuck in his hair,
Caleb continued, "I say we go to the lair. All beasts have a
home to which they return in order to feed or rest, we just need to
find it."
Kai nodded his understanding, "So
that way he comes to us, and we can lay a trap, great!"
