Thankfully, Lord Reginald broke the
silence, "Here are our guests!"
Jolted out of their surprise, everyone
got up at the same time and made their way towards the newcomers
whist exclaiming various salutations. After a lengthy five minutes of
introductions, Kai and Caleb were sat at the two remaining seats
around the table, expectant stares all around.
Servants brought tall pitchers filled
with fresh water, whilst others brought glasses; once everyone had
been served Reginald once again broke the silence, "Everyone,
let me introduce you to our guests." He gestured, prompting Kai
and Caleb to say their names to the table.
Reginald then continued, "You're
probably asking yourselves why you've been invited to this table. The
reason is quite simply this: You are the first people to ever leave
the dark forest; dead or alive."
