Caleb screamed so he'd be heard of the din of the common room, "Jarvis!"
The man turned and his smile became even larger as he said, "Caleb! It's been a long time; it's good to see you."
"It's good to see you too, old friend." replied Caleb.
"And who's this with you? He looks too young to be a veteran." asked Jarvis as he look Kai over suspiciously.
Kai almost referred to himself as ambassador, but stopped himself in time, "I am Kai, a friend of Caleb's."
Jarvis was silent for a moment as he continued to stare at them, then burst out, "Well then, any friend of Caleb's is a friend of mine!"
Kai and Caleb both let out sigh's of relief as Jarvis continued, "Here, I have a quiet room in the back for you." As he led them towards a nearby closed door, he said, "You look tired, rest here while I have them bring you some food."
